07/23/2008 8:00 AM - These six-year T-Bones ticket holders are a couple of dedicated fans to the T-Bones team.  Ron Johnson and Mary Lou Johnson, Winchester, Kan., don’t let the 40-mile drive stop them from missing a game.

“The T-Bones has been really ideal,” Ron said, as he talked about CommunityAmerica’s accessibilities.  After talking about other amenities at the ballpark, Mary Lou said,” the parking is just wonderful.”  The T-Bones offer free parking for all home games, and up-close spots just feet away from the gates.  The Johnson’s try and make it out early for each game and are usually lucky enough to get their favorite up-close parking spot.

The Johnson’s have also brought their five grandchildren and some great-grandchildren out to the ballpark.  “The T-Bones really cater to kids and families,” Mary Lou said.

The T-Bones is also a great gateway to meet new friends.  Sometimes the Johnson’s meet with other T-Bones ticket holders and go out to lunch.  One evening at the ballpark, Mary Lou began to talk with a family in the row in front of her and she ended up knowing the lady’s mother. What a small world it can be, right here at CommunityAmerica Ballpark.

The Kettle Stop stand is one favorite of the Johnson’s, while they also love the new additions, including the coffee, iced coffee, and sandwich wraps at the Stone Creek stand on the concourse.
