KANSAS CITY, Kan. – The Kansas City T-Bones used 16 hits to plate 15 runs as they shutout Winnipeg 15-0 in the finale of a four-game series this afternoon in front of 5,480 fans at CommunityAmerica Ballpark.  The T-Bones took three of four games from Winnipeg to begin a seven-game homestand.

Anthony Snow threw five and one-thirds scoreless innings for Kansas City tonight, allowing just four hits as he improved to 3-3.  The Goldeyes saw at least one batter reach base in each inning against Snow, but couldn’t muster a score.

Aaron Jackson matched Snow for two innings before surrendering three runs, one earned, on three hits in the third inning.  Greg Jacobs and Neb Brown picked up RBI in the frame.

Kansas City added another run in the fourth on an RBI single by Rob Watson and four more on three hits in the sixth to take a 8-0 lead.  Jim Fasano drove in three of the four sixth-inning runs with his 14th home run of the season.

Jackson left after surrendering doubles to the first two batters in the sixth.  He was charged with six runs, four earned, on seven hits in five-plus innings as he fell to 3-3 on the year.

The T-Bones plated three runs in the seventh and four in the eighth to extend their total to 15.  Jacobs picked up two more RBI in the seventh and one in the eighth, both on singles.  He finished three-for-six with four RBI in the contest.  Geoff McCallum (pictured) reached safely and scored in all five plate appearances, ending the contest two-for-two with two RBI.  Wayne Foltin was charged with seven of the runs in on seven hits over one and one-thirds innings for Winnipeg.

Tag Horner threw one and two-thirds innings of scoreless relief for Snow.  Bobby Carrington allowed one hit in a scoreless eighth and Payton Tweddale closed out the contest for Kansas City with a perfect ninth, striking out two of the three batters he faced.

Shortstop Max Poulin got the final two outs for the Goldeyes in the eighth, surrendering one hit while striking out one.

Kansas City welcomes the Schaumburg Flyers to town for a three-game set beginning tomorrow night.  Adam Garner is expected to start for Kansas City against a pitcher to be determined for the Flyers.  First pitch is slated for 7:05.
