07/10/2008 8:00 AM - As you sit in your seat at CommunityAmerica Ballpark during a game, you hear… lemonade, lemonade, lemonade wooooooooooo!  The well-known Chuy Gomez, of Olathe, Kan., came up with this catchy saying around seven years ago.

Gomez worked for the Royals when he became popular for the memorable phrase.  This season marks his fifth year with the T-Bones.  

“I prefer to walk around and interact with the crowd, that’s the part I love,” said Gomez.

Gomez runs and owns the Gomez Concessions stands that are located throughout the concourse.  At the stands you can find anything from corn dogs, funnel cakes, cotton candy, popsicles and of course lemonade.  

When Gomez is not at a T-Bones game, he tries making time to play soccer.  The next time you attend a T-Bones game make sure to say hello to Chuy Gomez as he walks around the stands with that thirst-quenching lemonade!
