“Featured Fan of the Week” is a fun way to involve those the T-Bones love the most – their fans!  So let’s get started with the first fan of the season.

This loyal T-Bones fan was a supporter of the team when he moved to Kansas City, and even before that when the team was in Minnesota.  Season ticket holder Tom Ericksen, of Kansas City, Mo., remembers his first day game at CommunityAmerica Ballpark like it was yesterday.

Ericksen moseyed over to the promotions table and signed up for the fifth inning grand slam.  If a T-Bones player hit a grand slam in the fifth inning, Ericksen would win a car.  The fifth inning rolled around and, T-Bones player, Rob Watson hit a line drive up left center field for a grand slam.

“And my jaw dropped; I was speechless,” said Ericksen.  That day he won a new, red 2007 Toyota Camry. 

Ericksen still drives his new ride to every home game he attends.  He keeps coming back to CommunityAmerica Ballpark “for the love of the game and the great players,” said Ericksen.
