09/12/2003 10:02 AM - The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks won the Northern League Championship in four games with a 12-2 win Saturday night before a CanWest Global Park after losing game three to the Goldeyes 4-3.

Northern League Championship Series MVP Todd George (7.0 IP, 7 H, 2 R, 1 BB, 4 SO) beat the Goldeyes for the second time in four days to run his playoff record to 2-0. Brad Purcell (2.1 IP, 5 H, 6 R, 2 BB, 1 SO) took the loss to fall to 1-1.

The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks represented the Western Division well in the finals. The T-Bones ended up in second place behind the Redhawks in the Western Division for the second half of the season, so expect great things from our Kansas City team next year!
