There will be a new brain behind the zaniness the T-Bones have become known for over the years. Colin Aldrich is now the director of promotions for the T-Bones. Aldrich will oversee the entire promotions department, which is largely responsible for scheduling special event nights, giveaways, and all the between-innings features.

 

“I am very excited to have the opportunity to be associated with the Kansas City T-Bones,” said Aldrich. “2008 should be a very exciting year, we have a lot of great promotions planned for the dedicated T-Bones fans."   The Fans should expect to see of the old favorites such as “Bungee Tug of War, and the Mascot Race with a few new fun characters". You should also expect to see a few new promotions like the Frosty T-Shirt Race and Guess the Fish. Also the fans should be excited to attend our theme nights as we continue to grow and make them as exciting as ever. Don’t forget to join us on May 28 for our Animal Awarenss Night to kick of the season with our first themed event.

 

Aldrich first joined the T-Bones as an intern in 2006 while finishing his degree in Business Administration at the University of St. Mary. While there, he also played four years of baseball as a first baseman. Originally coming from Phoenix, Arizona I am eager to be a part of baseball and the warm weather. "Enough with the long cold winter and dreary days without my favorite past time baseball." 

 

Colin is the oldest of three children, he has a younger brother attending Embry Riddle and a sister who is attending Scottsdale Community College in Scottsdale, Arizona.
