T-Bones Schedule Early Exhibition With Former Foe04/08/2008 10:39 AM - The T-Bones will open their season with an exhibition game in Huron, South Dakota on Friday, May 2 at 6:00 p.m. The T-Bones will take Sioux Falls Canaries, a former Northern League nemesis, at Memorial Park Stadium.
“The opportunity came to us late to play an exhibition game” said McCauley. “We look forward to evaluating our talent in a game situation rather than just practice. It also gives us an opportunity to see ourselves against an American Association opponent.”
Following the game the T-Bones will return to CommunityAmerica Ballpark to take on the Lincoln SaltDogs on Saturday night and the Wichita Wingnuts on Sunday, both games as part of the Northern League-American Association Challenge.
The T-Bones will also play the River City Rascals of the Frontier League in St. Louis and the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks in Fargo before opening the regular season on the road in Winnipeg.
