All-Star Centerfielder Re-Signs for 2008

T-Bones manager Andy McCauley has announced that all-star center fielder Aharon Eggleston will be back in a T-Bones uniform for the 2008 season.  Eggleston, 26, will return coming off a career year in which he was among the league leaders in stolen bases and batting average.

In 2007, Eggleston hit .321 with a home run (a grand slam) and 62 RBI while playing in a career high 91 games.  Eggleston swiped 22 bases, tying him with Neb Brown for the team lead, while being caught only three times, tying him for the league lead in stolen base percentage.  Eggleston was also voted in as a starter for the 2007 All-Star Game in Fargo.

“We’re looking for another good year out of Aharon Eggleston,” said McCauley.  “With his vigorous off-season workout and strength and conditioning he has been able to stay healthy.”

The T-Bones open the 2008 season on the road May 15 in Winnipeg, before the home-opener at CommunityAmerica Ballpark on May 23 against Schaumburg.  First pitch is scheduled for 7:05.  Season tickets and mini plans are available now by calling the T-Bones box office at (913) 328-5618.
