Fans of the Kansas City T-Bones were applauded for their support of the team in the December 6th issue of The Piper Press.
From the newspaper:
“Hearts to the fans of the Kansas City T-Bones, who are looking forward to their sixth season. Support for minor league baseball is tremendous here, but that isn’t always the case. Up the interstate in St. Joseph, MO., the St. Joe Blacksnakes of the American Association have fallen by the wayside.”
The organization would like to again thank the best fans in the world for their support of Kansas City T-Bones baseball. In 2007, the T-Bones averaged over 6,000 fans per game in attendance, welcomed their 1 millionth fan through the gates at CommunityAmerica Ballpark, and had over 290,000 fans come to a T-Bones game.
The T-Bones first home game of the 2008 is season Friday, May 23rd, when they host the Schaumburg Flyers.
