05/01/2007 11:22 AM - The Kansas City T-Bones are pleased to announce that a 5K fun run benefiting the Safety & Health Council of Western Missouri and Kansas will be held on Saturday, May 5 from 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. The run will start in the parking lot at CommunityAmerica Ballpark and will circle the Legends Shopping Center, ending at home plate with the runners entering the ballpark from the tunnel in right-center field and following the warning track around to home. T-Bones mascot Sizzle will be at the finish line to greet the runners as they cross home. A refreshment stand will be set up outside the front gate for runners.

The P.A. announcer will announce the award winners and those winners will be able to throw out the first pitch of the May 6 game.

Prior to the game on Friday, May 4 against St. Joseph, the Safety Council will set up a stand outside the front gate for anyone interested in learning more.
