07/08/2003 11:08 AM - Before the T-Bones take on the Sioux City Explorers on Friday, August 9th, the baseball Club will face another foe: muscular dystrophy. In cooperation with the Muscular Dystrophy Association, the Kansas City T-Bones will hold a charity softball game to take place before the scheduled game against Sioux City.

Among those expected to come out and have some T-Bones fun for a worthy cause are local firefighters. After the charity game, players’ jerseys will be auctioned off, with all proceeds benefiting the MDA and the fight against muscular dystrophy.
