Grand Prairie, Texas--After the heartbreaking loss in Sioux City, the T-Bones came to Texas hoping to fight their way back into the playoff hunt. Tommy Collier and Eric Manoah Jr. faced off again against each other for the third time this season, but a costly sixth inning for Manoah Jr. gave Tommy Collier (10-5) another quality start and the win for KC.

After a scoreless five innings, the sixth inning finally heated up and proved to be a big one for the T-Bones as five runs come home. Shawn O’Malley got on board with a single in the top of the sixth, followed by a single by Stewart Ijames. Then a bad throw sent Ijames running to second. A base hit by Casey Gillaspie brought home Romano and Ijames, and the T-Bones grabbed the lead, 2-0. Next, Correa got his second single of the night, and Danny Mars reached first on a walk by Manoah Jr., his first, loading the bases. A walk for Romano brought home Gillaspie, making it 3-0, Kansas City. A standup double for Dylan Tice drove in pair of T-Bones, Correa and Mars, bringing the lead to 5-0 and ending the T-Bone scoring run.

The AirHogs answered in the bottom of the sixth with a single by Li Ning and another by Javion Randle, and a wild pitch moved the runners to second and third. Li Ning scored for the AirHogs, making the score 5-1.

AirHogs knuckle-baller Chris Nowlin came in and walked Mason Davis, and a wild pitch moved Davis to second. Another walk for Nowlin moved Gillaspie to first. Then, another wild pitch advanced Davis and Gillaspie to second and third. A third walk put Correa on first and loaded the bases for Danny Mars. A fourth walk by Nowlin brought home Davis, bringing the score to 6-1, KC.

Henry Owens came in to close for the T-Bones, striking out three in a row for the T-Bones win. Tommy Collier (10-5) got the win for the T-Bones, and Erik Manoah Jr. (4-6) got the loss for the AirHogs.
