Some of our wishes for 2013

01/01/2013 10:23 AM -

As we head into 2013, here at tbonesbaseball.com we thought it would be fun to get New Year’s wishes from players and front-office personnel. So, we asked a few people this question: What do you wish for 2013?

“My wish is for health and happiness for my wife Ashley and newborn son, Avery, born December 27, 2012, and my entire family throughout the new year! I would also like for my son to see me pitch for the first time and, of course, a great season ending with a T-Bones American Association Championship for 2013! Happy New Year and Go T-Bones!”
-- Devin Anderson, Pitcher

“My New Year's wish is simply for continued happiness with my fiancée Lindsey, and a great wedding in October.”
-- Brian Bruce, Broadcaster

“As a life-long Kansas Citian, going back to the 1970s, I hope this is our city’s finest baseball summer ever (of course that comes only with championships for the T-Bones and the Royals). Either way, I wish for another fun and competitive season for the T-Bones. On a personal level, I wish for good health for my family and friends.”
-- Matt Fulks, Director of Media Relations

"My New Years wish for 2013 is for the sequel of 2004’s "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy," ("Anchorman: The Legend Continues") to be as hysterical as it has been in my dreams."
-- Emily Hoskins, Director of Promotions

“Obviously I wish for a healthy squad and a successful T-Bones season. It looks like we have our core coming back and knowing that we're healthy, I like our chances. On top of that I think a strong start out of the gates is important for any club. It is nice to be in the hunt all year. Being on a comeback type of team is special but nobody shoots for that. Personally I like being at the front of the pack consistently and it makes for interesting marquee matchups throughout the year. I’m looking forward to working with the coaching staff again, because I can learn a lot from those guys from a lot of different angles – we have good baseball pedigree in the clubhouse.”
-- Luke Irvine, Pitcher

"My wish for 2013 is for another successful and healthy year, to help the team win as many games as possible, and to bring a championship to Kansas City."
-- Brandon Jones, Outfielder

“My wish for 2013 is to get a huge ring with a big “T” on it, as we win the American Association championship.”
-- Josh Rainwater, Pitcher

"My wish for 2013 is to find the perfect house for my wife and I to purchase, and to close on it by the end of the season."
--Ryan Stos, T-Bones Sales Executive

“As always I wish for a successful T-Bones season. I wish for a less stressful and rewarding year. I wish our elected officials would go back to the time that when a President was elected everyone in Washington did what was best for the people. And, I wish for good health.”
-- Frank White, T-Bones Coach
