11/08/2010 9:23 AM -

The next edition of our “Season Ticket Holder of the Week” feature spotlights Jeff Adams and Paula Wehba. Both Jeff and Paula have been great supporters of the T-Bones since the inaugural 2003 campaign.

Name: Jeffrey Adams & Paula Wehba

Where do you live: Raymore, MO

Occupation: Health Insurance Sales (Jeff); Housekeeper/Interior Designer (Paula)

How long have you been a season ticket holder with the T-Bones: Since the beginning

How did you first hear about the T-Bones: My (Jeff) high school class president was the stadium architect and I was working on our class reunion when he told me about it.

Why did you decide to become a season ticket holder with the T-Bones: I (Jeff) told Paula I always wanted to own season tickets to something and I could afford these.

What is the best thing about being a season ticket holder: The many friends we have made at the ballpark from fans to staff

Who has been your favorite T-Bones player through the years: Greg Jacobs

What is your favorite promotion: Redneck Weekend and the Zooperstars

What is your most memorable moment at CommunityAmerica Ballpark: There have been several, like batting practice with “Dirty” Al and Ray Brown’s four errors in one game, which generated a colorful response…

…but the most memorable was after a game prior to our first playoff visit. I had promised some of the players a very expensive bottle of Johnnie Walker scotch if we made the post-season. I presented it to Phil Thompson and the rest of the team at the post-game party and took a picture with the team out in the center field party area. Greg Bicknell was instructed not to let them open it until the playoffs were clinched on the road, which they were the next night. We have that photo up today in our home.
