For the third time in eight seasons, the Kansas City T-Bones were named Northern League Organization of the Year following an outstanding 2010 campaign. The team previously earned the honor for the 2004 and 2007 seasons.

In 2010, Kansas City enjoyed success both on and off the field. Between the lines, first-year manager Tim Doherty led the T-Bones to a 58-42 record during the regular season, the best performance in franchise history. The T-Bones also paced the league in most offensive categories, including a league-record 162 home run barrage that shattered the previous mark of 123. Kansas City made their third straight playoff appearance in 2010, advancing to the championship round before falling to the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks.

Off the field, the T-Bones again finished in the top five in all of independent baseball with an average nightly attendance of more than 5,500 fans. That mark also puts Kansas City in the top 40 of more than 330 minor league teams. Additionally, the T-Bones became the fastest team in Northern League history to reach the 2 million fan mark, achieving the milestone in their eighth season.
