T-Bones Fall to KCK All-Stars, 2-105/11/2010 10:06 PM - The Kansas City T-Bones fell 2-1 tonight to the Kansas City Kansas All-Stars at CommunityAmerica Ballpark. Former major leaguer Dewon Brazelton started for Kansas City and held the KCK All-Stars scoreless over his four innings of work. The right-hander allowed five hits, all singles, while striking out three. He finished his outing with a perfect fourth inning. Erik Hamren surrendered two hits in two scoreless innings of relief before giving way to Josh Wahpepah in the seventh. Following a double and an infield single, Wahpepah walked the next batter to load the bases with nobody out. After a wild pitch plated the first run for the KCK All-Stars, an RBI groundout pushed the score to 2-0. Wahpepah was charged with two runs on two hits in one inning of relief. Drew Graham and Justin James combined to finish the game for Kansas City, each adding a scoreless inning to the ledger. Kansas City scored their lone run in the bottom of the eighth, beginning the frame with a leadoff single by Ryan Fox. After advancing to third on consecutive groundouts, Fox later scored on a two-out single by Rico Washington for a final tally of 2-1. Kansas City will host the KCK All-Stars again tomorrow night, with first pitch set for 7:05. The T-Bones begin their 2010 campaign against the RailCats in Gary, IN on May 20 and will host the defending champion Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks in their home opener on May 28 at 7:05 p.m. Single-game and season ticket packages are available now by calling 913-328-5618.
