Facts and figures behind Orlando's two matches against LA
Orlando City prepares to take on Los Angles in a back-to-back series starting tonight against the Blues. This marks the first time the Lions travel to LA in franchise history in what will be an important road swing for Orlando, one in which could further separate City from the rest of the league.

2- The Lions will be traveling to Los Angeles for the first time in franchise history to play the Blues for two matches this weekend. The first game will be held on Friday, the second on Sunday.

1- During the 2011 season, the Blues and Lions never had the chance to play against each other. However, this season Orlando City and LA met for the first time back in May, with the match resulting in a 1-1 draw.

29- Is the number of the Blues’ forward, Bright Dike. Dike has been ranked three times for the Blues in the USL PRO charts under the top 20 points leaders (14 points), goal leaders (6 goals) and shot leaders (27 shots).

2,500- The Lions will be traveling across the country approximately 2,500 miles to the state of California. Titan stadium, home of the Blues, is located on the campus of California State University.

7- The LA Blues are currently positioned 7th in the USL PRO standings with 17 points (5-6-2). 2005- Year Rodrigo Lopez, Orlando City’s newest midfielder, turned pro. Lopez began his professional career with Chivas USA, making a total of eight first-team appearances. He will join the club before their two games against LA.
