THE COLOR
Purple is more than a color, it defines us and makes us unique in the north American soccer landscape.

THE SHAPE
The three sided shield is retained as a link to our USL PRO crest, with the shape updated to make it more imposing and modern.

THE LION
The lion is strong, proud, stoic, the King of the jungle who never shies away from an opponent. The lion gives the club our nickname “The Lions” and retains the history and tradition of soccer in Central Florida.

THE SUN
Florida is the Sunshine State, and Orlando City aims to be Florida’s team. The 21 flares represent Orlando becoming the 21st team in MLS.

THE NAME
The clubs name, Orlando City sits proudly underneath the Lion in a new updated font.

THE DESIGN
The new crest pays homage to the USL PRO crest and our roots while evolving into a more modern and elegant symbol.
