Pittsburgh, Pa. - Orlando City Soccer Club was down late in Pittsburgh, but Kevin Molino made sure they were not out.  Molino’s stoppage-time goal assured a 1-1 draw for the Lions, capping off another dramatic match with the Riverhounds.

The defenses for both sides held firm in the first half, with neither side able to get the scoring started.  A physical tone was set early when Pittsburgh’s Mike Seth was booked in the 13th minute for a rough challenge.  The match’s nature came as no surprise.  When the Lions and Riverhounds last met, the two clubs combined for 33 fouls.  In total, five yellow cards were handed out, four of which were for overly physical challenges.

The second half saw more attacking, as both sides pushed hard to break the deadlock.  The Riverhounds nearly struck at the hour mark after City’s Ian Fuller was called for a handball in the box.  Miguel Gallardo came up big for the Lions and saved the attempt, keeping the game scoreless.

After a near-miss minutes earlier, the Riverhounds final broke through in the 82nd minute.  Darren Amoo fed Matt Kassel for the go-ahead goal.  As these two sides showed in their last meeting, the match was far from over.

Both clubs continued to push until the final whistle.  After the Lions saw a save and follow-up rebound hit the post, it looked like Orlando was headed home with a loss.  Kevin Molino changed all that two minutes into stoppage.  The Trinidadian international grabbed his third goal of the year, making sure City did not return to Orlando with a blemish on their record for the second straight road trip.

Justin Clark made his professional debut for Orlando City during the match.  Clark’s season has been hampered by an nagging ankle injury.  The rookie Centerback from Rollins College started and played 68 minutes.  He also picked up the first yellow card of his career in the 52nd minute for a challenge just outside the City 18-yard box.

With the draw, Orlando City maintains their lead in USL PRO.  At 34 points, they hold a four point lead on first place over Charleston.  The Lions look to lengthen their lead in Los Angeles next week with two matches against the Blues in the City of Angels.  Both matches will be broadcast on USLNation.com.  For more information, visit www.orlandocitysoccer.com today.
