Tomorrow’s U.S. Open Cup at the Seminole Soccer Complex is sure to a be a packed house, so we’ve pulled together a few tips and some essential info to make your Open Cup match day experience a great one.Directions: The SSC is located at: 7390 Markham Road, Sanford, FL 32771 For directions, visit www.orlandocityyouth.org. Gates: Gates open at 5:30 pm. Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm. Tickets: Tickets will be purchased at the entrance to the complex, before you park. If you are a season ticket holder, you already have a ticket for the match. You must bring your Season Ticket Holder ID card for admission. If you do not have an ID card, there will be a master list at the gate. Tickets for the match are $15. All seats are general admission. There will be a cash-only lane, and a credit card lane. Tailgating: Seminole Soccer Complex is a youth soccer facility. As a result, alcohol is not permitted on property. Grills will be allowed. Tips: COME EARLY: This one is in all caps for a reason. The most important thing you can do is arrive early. The location of the Seminole Soccer Complex means traffic, combined with rush hour on I-4, will be somewhat challenging. To make your experience as simple as possible, arrive as early as possible. Pay with cash: While we will be able to accept credit cards, paying with cash significantly speed up your entry process, as well as the process for all the vehicles in line behind you. Carpool: Another way to make things easier is for several fans to carpool up to the match. This will help you get through the line faster as there will be fewer cars if more people ride together. |
