Day 6 sees the OCYS lads train at Stoke's "dome" training center
Greg Brick, Director of Coaching for Orlando City Youth Soccer, will be checking in regularly from England as the OCYS group tours, trainings, and plays against some of England’s best youth teams.

Day 6 of the trip kicked off with a training session in the "dome" next to Britannia Stadium. The dome is a covered Astroplay pitch which the Academy uses when weather conditions are not favorable for training outdoors. The Orlando City Staff trained all three groups.

The focus was technical training and speed of play along with general tactical preparation for the matches at Burnley. After the morning session, the groups spent the afternoon at the hotel catching up on homework and recovering from the busy week. All groups reconvened at the dome in the evening for a fun 5v5 tournament where each team was represented by a player from each of the age groups. U13 player Jack McCloskey stated,"It was fun and difficult because there were players from different age groups and the goals were small and difficult to score on. It was a challenging, but a very fun tournament."

The teams played for 3 hours until a champion was crowned. Needless to say, but all groups competed fiercely. The players await anxiously for their tour of Old Trafford and their matches against FC Burnley.
