Orlando City Foundation Introduces New Raffle Method OCF to replace 50/50 raffle method for 2014-15 regular season
ORLANDO, Fla. - In collaboration with ESPN Wide World of Sports, Orlando City Soccer Club (Orlando City SC) will introduce a new raffle method in place of its original 50/50 raffle format. Effective this season, fans will be able to purchase raffle tickets during the following three Orlando City SC home games: May 31, June 28, and August 2. Furthermore, a week before any of these three home games, fans will be able to purchase raffle tickets via the Orlando City SC online store. Throughout the three home games, the Orlando City Foundation (Foundation) will sell raffle tickets at its booth, featuring the following price points: one ticket for $10, seven tickets for $50, and 15 tickets for $100. Raffle tickets can also be purchased through Foundation staff that will constantly circulate throughout the stadium. During each designated home game, three lucrative packaged prizes will be up for grabs. The first package includes hotel accommodations at a resort hotel (to be determined by Disney), four one-day Magic Your Way Tickets with Park Hopper Option, four OCSC match tickets for a predetermined date, and one Disney gift card with a value of $100 (valid for purchases at select locations throughout the resort). The second prize will include a 2014 USL Pro team autographed jersey. Finally, the third fan will be awarded 2014 (voided) season tickets framed and autographed. Winners of the raffle are asked to present their winning ticket the following day to Orlando City SC officials at the club’s main office (618 E. South Street, Orlando, FL 32801) to secure the prize. In addition to Orlando City Foundation’s four annual events, the raffle serves as another way to create awareness and garner necessary funds for the Foundation’s designated charities. All proceeds from the raffle will continue to go to the Orlando City Foundation 501 ( c ) (3) non-profit organization. For more information on the raffle or the Foundation, please click here! |
