Lions to play on the road against Arizona United SC on Saturday

Orlando, Fla.- Orlando City SC (6-0-3, 21 points) will look to continue its unbeaten run in USL PRO this weekend when the Lions travel to Peoria Sports Complex to face Arizona United SC (3-2-1, 10 points) on Saturday, May 17.

Kickoff is scheduled for 10:00 p.m. EST, and the match will be live streamed via YouTube.com/ArizonaUnitedSoccer.

Sitting at the top of USL PRO table, City is currently riding a nine-game unbeaten streak through first two months of the season. After a tough two-game stretch last weekend, that featured matches on consecutive nights, City was able to return home with a 1-0 victory over Pittsburgh and a 1-1 draw against the Rochester Rhinos.

May is by far the most hectic month for the Lions this season, in terms of the number of matches, and is already starting to take its toll as City has several key players who have picked up knocks in the past few weeks.

Fortunately for Orlando, Defender Bryan Burke re-signed with the club on Wednesday and made his first appearance with the club this season in the Lions’ second round Open Cup win over the Ocala Stampede on Wednesday night. Burke, who has been recovering from a broken leg suffered in July of 2013, played the full 90 against the Stampede.

Orlando City’s first MLS Homegrown signing, Tommy Redding, also made his professional debut with the Lions in the match against Ocala and will be available for selection this weekend.

Arizona United SC has rarely left their home state this season, playing four of their first six contests at Peoria Sports Complex. Sitting in fourth place in USL PRO, Arizona has won its last two matches, including a 3-2 victory over the Portland Timbers Reserves at Providence Park.

City will see a familiar face this weekend, as Defender Joseph Toby, who signed with Orlando during the 2013 off-season, transferred to AUSC early in the 2014 season. Toby has seen playing time in all six matches for his new club.
