Orlando City SC will continue their three game home-stretch at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex when they host the Rochester Rhinos on Saturday, April 5. The match will kick-off at 7:30 p.m.

“We’re going to have everybody’s best shot this season,” said Head Coach Adrian Heath. “Ideally, we need to score first to open the game up for us so that the opposing teams have to come out and try to play.”

The Lions’ temporary home at WWOS provided an intimate setting for the slew of fans who were on hand to witness City’s 1-1 draw against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds this past weekend. After a defensive error that saw Striker Jose Angulo put the visitors up 1-0, Orlando Defender Luke Boden leveled the score-line with a fantastic finish from inside the area.

“It was a great finish,” added Heath on Boden’s equalizer. “It was well needed and came at exactly the right time. The goal capped off what was an outstanding performance from Luke (Boden). It didn’t surprise me that he got man of the match because it was a man of the match performance.”

Throughout the past three years, the Lions have been highly successful against the Rhinos (6-0-1) and will aim to secure their first win of the season on Saturday night after beginning the 2014 campaign with consecutive 1-1 draws.

Saturday’s match marks the first game of the 2014 season for Rochester who will aim for the first win against City since the team’s arrival to the City Beautiful. During the off-season, the Rhinos made a series of changes, including the signing of former Houston Dynamo Striker Alex Dixon.
