Abbott to speak with Orange County Commissioners alongside Orlando City President Phil Rawlins in advance of Tuesday’s vote

ORLANDO, Fla.— Orlando City SC announced Friday that Major League Soccer (MLS) President Mark Abbott will be in Orlando on Monday to meet individually with Orange County Commissioners prior to Tuesday’s vote on completion of funding for a new, downtown soccer stadium. Orlando City President Phil Rawlins will accompany Abbott in each of the meetings.

If the vote passes through the Orange County Commissioners meeting Tuesday afternoon, the club would be able to enter into final negotiations with MLS to award an expansion team.
