Defender available for selection in Orlando’s match against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds Wednesday

ORLANDO, Fla.— Orlando City SC (USL PRO) and Sporting Kansas City (Major League Soccer) announced Friday that Defender Kevin Ellis will be available for selection in Sporting’s match against Toronto FC Saturday night at Sporting Park. The defender will then join the Lions on the road soon afterwards, as Orlando plays the Pittsburgh Riverhounds Wednesday night at Highmark Stadium.

Ellis arrived with fellow loanee C.J. Sapong Thursday afternoon, with the two starting last night in Orlando’s 2-1 win over the Charleston Battery. Both played the full 90 minutes for the Lions.

Sapong will remain with Orlando as the Lions face the Dayton Dutch Lions on the road Sunday night at Beavercreek High School in Dayton, Ohio. Kickoff for the match is set for 6:30 p.m. and will be streamed live on USLNation.com.
