Fans can now buy tickets at over 150 Walgreens in Central Florida area

Orlando City is proud to announce that Walgreens is an official partner of the Lions starting in 2013. With over 150 locations in the State of Florida, Walgreens will be another ticket outlet for the club as the Lions look to win their third straight USL PRO regular season championship heading into the 2013 regular season.

Fans can buy their tickets at any local Walgreens in Orlando and Central Florida, providing for more choices and convenience for supporters of the club.

“Having this Walgreens partnership extends our brand to many locations around Orlando and will be a great benefit to our loyal fans,” said Orlando City Ticket Director Russell Dayvault. “We look forward to working with them in 2013 and beyond.”

Walgreens will also have a presence in the fan zone, and more information on specifics regarding participation in the fan zone will come in the upcoming month, as Orlando prepares for their home opener on April 14 vs. the Rochester Rhinos. Walgreen's sponsorship aligns with the club’s and presenting sponsor Orlando Health’s vision for a healthier Central Florida.

The Walgreens announcement comes off the heels of Orlando City securing field naming rights (Fifth Third Bank at the Florida Citrus Bowl) for the 2013 season and Sherwin-Williams being the newest kit sponsor as their logo will adorn the team’s shorts in all 2013 USL PRO and US Open Cup matches.
