Orlando City finished the 2013 collegiate friendly series with a win Monday night against the University of Tampa, topping the Spartans 6-0 behind a franchise-record four goals from Forward Dom Dwyer. Jamie Watson and Kevin Molino also added goals for the Lions in the victory, who have remained unbeaten through the month of March. The Lions now move on to the second leg of the I-4 Derby presented by United World Soccer in St. Petersburg against new rival Tampa Bay Rowdies. The match is set for a 7:30 kickoff at Al Lang Field in downtown St. Pete. Orlando topped the 2012 NASL Champions in comeback fashion on March 9 at Fifth Third Bank at the Florida Citrus Bowl 3-2, having the advantage heading into Saturday night’s game. 25 – Orlando has scored 35 goals during this year’s preseason. 25 of those goals have been scored since the first leg of the I-4 Derby back on March 9 3-0-0 – The Tampa Bay Rowdies also had a successful preseason, ending its collegiate games with a 3-0-0 record. The team won against Saint Leo University, University of Tampa and Eckerd College. 23 – The Rowdies will have a roster of 23 players available on Saturday, a much expanded list than the previous matchup. This list will be made up of 18 signed players and 5 trialists, including recent additions Midfielder Kyle Clinton and Defender Jordan Gafa. 2 - Number of buses the collective Orlando City supporter groups will be taking down to St. Petersburg on Saturday. The buses, which will be filled with members of the Iron Lion Firm, Ruckus, Space Coast Alliance, Los Guerriloz and other Lions fans, marks major fan support on the away leg of the I-4 Derby. 102.5 FM - The match will be broadcast on local WLOQ 102.5 starting at 7:00 p.m..
