Youth Directors and Justin Clark gave soccer lessons at New Image Youth Center

On Wednesday, Orlando City SC (OCSC), in conjunction with Orlando City Soccer Foundation, ran their first free soccer clinic at the New Image Youth Center on Parramore. A host of Orlando City Youth Soccer directors and Pro Defender Justin Clark ran the clinics, teaching the children the basics of the beautiful game and some tips on healthy lifestyles.

At the end of the day, the Center was left with brand new indestructible soccer balls for years of use without worry of going flat.

Mark Lowry, Assistant Boys Academy Director/Youth Soccer Account Executive, commented on the experience and what it was like to be teaching the first clinic.

“It was a great experience for us to go and work with such a wonderful group of children,”said Lowry. “The ladies that run the New Image Youth Center are doing an incredible job. I can’t wait to get back out there and spend more time with the children at the center and on the soccer field.“

OCSC will hold another clinic at the Youth Center on the 28th, with more events to follow soon. Information about the New Image Youth Center can be found by going to their website, www.newimageyouth.org.
