Pogoseat Expands Seat Upgrades to New Event Venues

This summer Pogoseat will begin offering seat upgrades for both concert and theatre venues. Their mobile-ticketing software will give patrons the opportunity to upgrade their seats during these live entertainment events. Pogoseat has already seen their platform succeed with the Golden State Warriors and Detroit Pistons as well as Stanford University starting in November 2012, and has received a tremendous response from their partners and fans.

"Now that we have successfully tested seat upgrades with our sports partners, we are confident to take the next step to rollout seat upgrades at live entertainment venues" says Max Lebovitz, VP of Marketing. "The feedback we have received indicates that patrons want to have the ability to upgrade their seats at concerts, plays, musicals, and many other live entertainment events".

Pogoseat will be launching seat upgrades this summer with Broadway San Diego, a performing arts series of events that features musicals including Green Day's American Idiot and The Book of Mormon, amongst many others. The shows are performed out of San Diego Civic Theatre in downtown San Diego.

Pogoseat will also be testing seat upgrades at a few Live Nation East Coast concert venues over the next few months. Pogoseat is partnered with Live Nation and is integrated with the Archtics ticketing system making the transition from sports to concerts much easier. Soon enough, patrons will be able to upgrade at amazing concerts this summer featuring performers such as Dave Matthew's Band, Tim McGraw, Kid Rock, and many others.
