Objective:  Renew Season Tickets for the Upcoming 2002-2003 Men's Basketball Season

Project Description:  The University of Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Department used NVS Interactive Media to send out an automated telephone message from Head Basketball Coach, Bo Ryan.  The personalized message was sent to season ticket holders informing them to renew their season tickets before the September deadline.

"Hi, this is Bo Ryan, Head Basketball Coach of the Big Ten Champs Wisconsin Badgers.  With the season quickly approaching, I'm calling to remind you to renew your season tickets for the upcoming season.  I'm anxious to start and I hope you are, too.  We're going to have a young and determined team that will play hard every night and I want you to be a part of the excitement when the season tips off November 6th.  So, if you haven't yet renewed, be sure to do so today.  Mail your application to the ticketing office or renew online at uwbadgers.com.  The deadline is Friday, September 13th.  If you have any questions, please contact the ticket office at 1.800.GO.BADGERS.  Thanks for your support of Wisconsin Basketball!"

Results:  The message from Bo Ryan was sent to the database of over 6500 people.  84% of the Bo Ryan calls were connected(meaning, 84% of the database either received the call live, or Bo's message was left).  With an average of a 5% return, the University of Wisconsin exceeded their goal and renewed over 97% of the season ticket holders.

"Our goal was to get season ticket holders to renew early in the renewal period.  NVS Interactive Media enabled us to reach our targeted fan base in a unique and creative fashion with minimum cost.  Direct Dial Marketing complimented our entire marketing campaign.  We were very encouraged with the positive response from our fans!"
