ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando City Soccer Club returns to USL PRO league action Saturday night in Wilmington, N.C, as the Lions travel north to face the Hammerheads. City is looking to rebound from a disappointing 3-2 loss to Sporting Kansas City in the U.S. Open Cup. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. at Legion Stadium. The match will be broadcast on USLNation.com.

Though Orlando City was knocked out of the U.S. Open Cup, the Lions, with a 7-0-2 record, remain undefeated through nine league matches. Head Coach Adrian Heath and his club are well aware of the target the team carries into every match.

"As I've said to the boys, we're there to be shot at," said Heath. "You can sense that now in every game. It comes with the territory of being the champions and being the best team in the league."

The Lions' last and only trip to Wilmington, nearly one year to the day of tomorrow's clash, ended 4-2 in favor of Orlando City, but the scoreline does not tell the whole story. Wilmington led 2-1 at the end of the first half. City scored three unanswered goals in the second half to complete their first comeback of the 2011 season. Jamie Watson scored two goals in the match, his first against the team for which he won the 2009 USL-2 MVP.

In three total meetings between the two clubs, City holds the series advantage with a 2-0-1 record. The Lions have outscored the Hammerheads 9-4 in those three games. Orlando and Wilmington have met once so far this season. The Lions opened their home schedule with a convincing 4-1 victory on April 15. Still, Heath is not convinced previous results will impact the game much.

"We had a difficult game there last year," said Heath. "They are traditionally difficult to play at home. We'll have to play well. I don't think the first game will have much of an effect on what's going to happen."

The Lions come into the game a little banged up. Forward Max Griffin continues to nurse a hamstring injury suffered during last week's 1-1 draw with LA Blues. Forward Matt Luzunaris was hit with a sudden illness on Sunday, and ended up missing the flight to Kansas City. He was held of training this week, and is expected to be unavailable.

The sudden unavailability of the forwards means Heath will have to shuffle his line-up yet again. One player that may see time at a new position is John Rooney. The Englishman has spent all season in the "Number 10" attacking midfielder role in Heath's 4-2-3-1 system, but is also fully capable of filling in as forward, a position he occasionally played last season with the New York Red Bulls in Major League Soccer. Rooney may be chomping at the bit to play the Hammerheads again anyway. He scored twice in April 15th match-up.

Player to Watch - Dennis Chin:

Dennis Chin had another breakout Open Cup performance on Tuesday, scoring once and creating several additional chances with well-timed runs. The speedy forward has been making a case for more minutes. With Griffin and Luzunaris out. Chin is getting his wish.

His goal against Sporting Kansas City was his fourth of the season in all competitions. More importantly, the goal came late in a match in which Chin started. There have been questions about his effectiveness late in starts when his speed and stamina diminish. He appears to have answered those questions against top-flight competition. Look for him to prove any remaining doubters wrong on Saturday.

Available Roster:

Miguel Gallardo, Sean Kelley, Wes Allen, Kieron Bernard, Luke Boden, Justin Clark, Kyle Davies, Jerome Mechack, Erik Ustruck, Rob Valentino, Charlie Campbell, Ian Fuller, Kevin Molino, James O'Connor, Anthony Pulis, Jamie Watson, Dennis Chin, John Rooney
