Due to an injury he suffered against Stoke City, Lion-on-loan Jean Alexandre will not be available for Friday’s match.

“Jean was another body we hoped to have all the way through,” said Head Coach Adrian Heath.  “Unfortunately, it’s part and parcel of the game.  You never know when they’re going to happen or who their going to happen to.”

Should he recover in time, he could be available for a potential USL PRO Championship Game on September 8.

“We haven’t written him off,” said Heath.  “At this moment, he hasn’t played a minute since the Stoke game, not even for San Jose.  It’s looking increasingly unlikely that he’ll be available.”

Also unavailable for Friday is John Rooney.  Rooney has been away from the team in England on personal leave following the birth of his son.
