ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando City is proud to announce the First Annual Supporters Summit, hosted by Mojo Cajun Bar and Grill, on Wednesday, Jan. 25 at 6pm. 

The summit is an open fan forum where the front office will meet with fans to discuss plans for the 2012 season and address fans’ questions about the club.  The event will be capped off by the unveiling of the 2012 home uniform.

“This event is to give all of our fans a chance to provide feedback and ask questions,” said Alex Wolf, Director of Operations. “This is also a rallying event to show MLS we are ready to make the jump. Fan support will play a big factor in the process and we need to show MLS at the Disney Pro Soccer Classic and all season we are a major soccer city and we have the fan's support.”

Doors will open at 5 pm for fans to eat and mingle.  The forum itself will kick off at 6 pm and conclude with the jersey unveiling at 7 pm.

As part of the event, Orlando City is holding a short essay contest where three lucky fans will win the new jersey and be presented with it as part of the unveiling.  The three fans chosen will chronicle their first day with the 2012 jersey, taking photos, video, or even a diary of what they did the next day with their new Orlando City jersey.  The diary will be put up on OrlandoCitySoccer.com for every City fan to see.

To enter, fans must submit a 150 word essay on why they are the best Orlando City fan to [email protected] by 5 pm on Jan. 23.
