The Kansas City T-Bones host the Schaumburg Flyers in a three-game series tonight after a disappointing two-game opening series against the Winnipeg Goldeyes.  The T-Bones dropped their first two games of the season and now look to rebound against a Flyers team that is 1-1 thus far in 2009 .

During their 2008 championship season, Kansas City went 12-10 against the Flyers overall and 7-6 against them at CommunityAmerica Ballpark.  The two teams are set to play 20 times in 2009, including eight times in Kansas City.
