Gary Bowman

The 35-year old brings over 25 years of hockey experience to the Iowa Wild, having played throughout his life and collegiately for SUNY at Oswego. He graduated from SUNY at Oswego in 2005 with a B.S. in Wellness Management / Health Science. He amplified his education with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from  Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2009. In March of 2015 he finished his Master’s degree from Logan College in Sport Science & Rehabilitation with a special focus on Nutrition and Human Performances. He completed his final internship during the 2013-2014 season under the watchful eye of Iowa Head ATC Jody Green.

Gary possesses numerous Fitness Certifications. Bowman is a Strong First level 1 Kettlebell instructor and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization Certified Exercise Professional.

Bowman specializes in spine and sports rehabilitation with over eight years of clinical experience.  Gary also has worked with numerous sports varying from hockey, rugby, football, wrestling and baseball, to golf and cross country.

The Casper, Wyoming native recently relocated to Des Moines with his wife and their two children
