Meet the Mascot

A "wild" animal that grew up playing hockey on the lakes of Minnesota, Crash has hockey in his DNA. As distant relative of the Minnesota Wild's Nordy, Crash lives and breathes Wild hockey. Crash wears #14 on his jersey, representing the year he migrated south to Iowa and was born into the Iowa Wild organization.

Crash is honored and proud to be chosen as the mascot of the Minnesota Wild's AHL affiliate. He is excited to bring the energy and excitement of hockey to Iowa, proving that the "State of Hockey" truly has no borders. Crash will work tirelessly to grow the sport that he loves. He has learned from and trained with the best (Nordy!), and is well equipped to take on the responsibilities of the Iowa Wild mascot.

Fans will find that Crash's passion for hockey and the Iowa Wild is unparalleled. A lovable animal that effortlessly makes friends, Crash is easily excited about hockey, Wild fans and his job as a representative of the organization. He is never short on energy and quite playful, always ready for a good time. He now calls Wells Fargo Arena home, and looks forward to exploring Des Moines and meeting the people of Iowa!
