05/23/2006 10:34 AM - KANSAS CITY, KS – The Kansas City T-Bones open their home season tonight at 7:05 as they take on the Joliet JackHammers in the first of a three-game series at CommunityAmerica Ballpark.

Tonight the T-Bones salute Buck O’Neil and other Kansas City baseball legends. All fans attending tonight’s game will receive a magnet schedule courtesy of Tech Guys. In addition, CommunityAmerica Credit Union will be giving away All-Star T-shirts at the gate.

Greg Bicknell (1-0) is tonight’s starting pitcher. Bicknell gave up nine hits, seven earned runs, and struck out five in the T-Bones 9-8 season-opening win at Thursday at Schaumburg.

Don’t miss your chance to see T-Bones sluggers Eddie Pearson, Greg Jacobs, and Charles Peterson for the first time this season at CommunityAmerica Ballpark. Jacobs will look to extend his hitting streak to five games this season.
