Houston is home to some NCAA Tourney action in the next few weeks and several area players could return home to play in front of friends and family.

So who could make the biggest splash?

Andrew and Aaron Harrison are leading the undefeated Kentucky Wildcats to an historic season. Can they close the deal? The Travis products are NBA-ready and have continued to be pushed by coach John Calipari.

Freshmen Kelly Oubre (Bush), Justin Jackson (HCYA) and Justice Winslow (St. John’s) haven’t looked like first-year players. Oubre stars for Kansas, while Jackson and Winslow have made big impressions on North Carolina and Duke.

Texas snuck into the tourney and could make a run due to their size. Guard Isaiah Taylor has returned from injury while Cameron Ridley is a force inside.

Joseph Young (Yates) of Oregon was the Pac-12 Player of the Year and is a tremendous scorer keeping the Ducks in every game. As is former Dulles guard D’Angelo Harrison of St. Johns.

North Shore’s Johnathan Motley (Baylor) and Ryan Manuel (SMU) of FB Austin will also play significant roles in their team’s success.
