Behind the Camera

Technology can pass you by quicker than a no-look pass.

PrimeTime Sports is keeping up with the new video craze as its National Basketball Championship and 7 On 7 Tournament of Champions will be broadcasted by one of the country’s premiere live-streaming production companies. OK.Preps.tv will offer streaming and archives of games, with play-by-play, multiple cameras and in-game graphics.

“Their video experience exceeds that of anything I have seen in grassroots basketball,” PrimeTime Sports founder David Stephens said.

OK.Preps.tv has built their business two-fold. OKPREPS is a broadcasting sports media platform and scholastic program for high school students in Oklahoma. Students produce, direct and film sports and academic events, connecting the program's curriculum with real-world broadcasting experience.

“We give power to high schools to be their own network and the instruction in the classroom comes with that,” Joshua Stokes said. “Students get the full experience of tv production while also featuring athletes beyond what is already available to them. We’ve already streamed more than 1,200 varsity events and 1,800 hours of programming.”

While they're heavy into the high school world they also cover grassroots sports as well.

“Everybody wants exposure,” Stokes said. “We’re in a world where exposure is everything and we also provide that to athletes as their games are broadcasted and can be archived. Families who can’t make the trip to see these games now have access to watch these students play.”

With the help OK.Preps.TV, PrimeTime Sports will further enhance the reach of these national events. To participate visit and register at primetimesportz.com
