CLEBURNE, Texas -- Cortland Cox struck out 10 batters in five innings of relief, and the Cleburne Railroaders walked off the Kansas City T-Bones, 2-1, in 14 innings at The Depot on Monday night.

Cox retired his last 15 hitters after a leadoff double in the 10th inning, and Mitch Glasser drove in Blake Grant-Parks with a one-out single in the 14th inning for Cleburne’s sixth walk-off win of 2017.

Alberto Rodriguez took a no-hitter into the seventh inning before a two-out triple ended his bid, and five Cleburne pitchers combined to give up just one unearned run on two hits over 14 innings.

The Railroaders also struck out 18 T-Bones -- three more than the previous high set twice in May and June.

Glasser also scored the first run of the game on Pichi Balet’s two-out single in the first inning, but after Will Mathis’s throwing error to begin the ninth inning, the T-Bones scored an unearned run on an RBI fielder’s choice.

Cleburne stranded 12 runners on base -- 11 of which were in scoring position.

The Railroaders have now won three of five games since the All-Star Break, with two walk-off wins.

Game 2 of the three-game series is scheduled for Tuesday night. First pitch is set for 7:06 p.m. and can be heard live on the Railroaders Radio Network with pregame beginning 20 minutes prior.
