FARGO, North Dakota -- Mitch Glasser extended his hitting streak to five with a pair of singles, but the Railroaders were shut out for the fifth time in a 4-0 loss to the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks at Newman Outdoor Field on Saturday evening.

Glasser had single in each the third and sixth innings, but Cleburne sent just 28 batters to the plate and Cody McPartland -- making only the second start of his professional career -- tossed a complete game shutout with only four hits, no walks and 87 pitches.

Derrick Pyles continued his successful stretch with another single in the first, and Geraldo Valentin singled in his first at-bat of the series, but the Railroaders didn’t put a runner in scoring position and lost for the eighth time in nine games on the roadtrip.

In his last start before the All-Star Game on Tuesday, Cleburne starter Patrick Mincey gave up three runs on four hits with two walks and two strikeouts over seven innings.

Casey Upperman pitched the eighth inning, giving up a run on two hits.

K.D. Kang finished 2-for-4 with three RBI, clubbing a two-run homer in the sixth -- his second of the series -- and driving in a run with a ground-rule double in the eighth.

Game 3 of the three-game set is scheduled for Sunday. First pitch is set for 1:00 p.m. and can be heard live on the Railroader Radio Network with pregame beginning 20 minutes prior.
