CLEBURNE, Texas -- Ermindo Escobar hit a walk-off single in the 11th inning, and the Cleburne Railroaders took the series with a 2-1 win over the Salina Stockade at The Depot on Wednesday night.

Escobar singled down the left-field line to score Dylan Mouzakes -- who was pinch-running after Geraldo Valentin led off the 11th with a single to right -- and the Railroaders walked off for the fourth time this year.

Alberto Rodriguez -- making his second start of the year -- went seven innings and gave up just one run on three hits, while Carlos Misell, Winston Abreu and Cortland Cox combined for four scoreless innings with only two hits and three strikeouts.

Axel Johnson tied the game in the bottom-half of the sixth with an RBI double to right field after Salina had taken a 1-0 lead on a sacrifice fly in the top-half of the inning.

Escobar reached three times with a single, a walk and a hit-by-pitch, while Maikol Gonzalez also walked twice and singled. K.C. Huth reached twice and scored in his third consecutive game in the leadoff spot, and Oscar Mesa finished 1-for-5 with a single.

The Railroaders will open a four-game series with the Lincoln Saltdogs beginning Thursday night at The Depot. Rafael Palmeiro and 106-year-old Elizabeth Sullivan will be in attendance, and first pitch is set for 7:06 p.m.

Good seats are still available and can be purchased online at www.railroaderbaseball.com or by visiting the box office located near the main gate at The Depot.
