CLEBURNE, Texas -- The Cleburne Railroaders are proud to announce that RHP Patrick Mincey has been named the Rawlings American Association Pitcher of the month for June.

Mincey made five starts in the month of June and finished with a 3-1 record and a 2.27 ERA -- throwing the first two complete games of his professional career.

Pitching for his sixth different American Association franchise, Mincey threw back-to-back complete games on June 15 against Salina and June 20 against Texas. He gave up just a run on seven hits in each of the two complete games, and struck out six in the 9-1 win over the Stockade.

Mincey also gave up three runs over six innings in his last start of the month in Wichita, and he gave up just one run across six innings back on June 4 against Texas.

Across the entire month, Mincey threw 35.2 innings and gave up nine runs on 31 hits with just two walks and 13 strikeouts.

Mincey is also Cleburne’s scheduled starter to begin the month of July.
