CLEBURNE, Texas -- Blake Grant-Parks finished 3-for-4 with three doubles and two RBI, and the Cleburne Railroaders salvaged the finale of a three-game series with a 4-3 win over the Salina Stockade at The Depot on Wednesday night.

Grant-Parks became the first player in franchise history to register three doubles in a game, and he scored the game’s first run after a leadoff double in the second before driving in two runs with another in the sixth.

Salina did put the tying run at third and the go-ahead run in scoring position after loading the bases with two runs scored in the ninth, but Winston Abreu held on for his 10th save of the year.

K.C. Huth drove in a pair of runs with two singles, and James Land added a single in the sixth inning. Cleburne collected 10 hits as a team and used a three-run sixth inning to end a four-game losing streak.

Alberto Rodriguez threw five-plus scoreless innings in his first professional start, giving up three hits with four walks and three strikeouts. Carlos Misell, making his Railroaders debut, gave up a run on three hits with no walks and two strikeouts over three innings.

Cleburne tagged Salina starter for four runs on eight hits with a walk and two strikeouts over 5.1 innings, and the Stockade bullpen combined for 2.2 scoreless innings with two hits and two walks.

The Railroaders now prepare for a three-game set with Wichita beginning Friday. First pitch is set for 7:06 p.m., and the pregame show will begin at 6:45 p.m. Good tickets are still available and can be purchased at www.railroaderbaseball.com or by visiting the box office near the main gate at The Depot.
