GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas -- K.C. Huth opened the scoring with an RBI triple in the second inning, but the Cleburne Railroaders lost 4-2 to the Texas AirHogs in the series finale at AirHog Stadium Wednesday night.

Huth’s triple was his first of the year, and gave Cleburne an early 1-0 lead. But a two-out rally ended with a pair of Texas runs in the fourth, and the AirHogs added a run in the fifth and the seventh to avoid the sweep and win their first game in six tries against the Railroaders this year.

Santos Arias gave up three runs on seven hits with two walks and two strikeouts over 4.1 innings -- his shortest outing of the year. Dylan Mouzakes turned in 3.2 innings in long relief, giving up a run on three hits with two walks and five strikeouts.

Texas starter Carlos Contreras gave up just one run on three hits with two walks and seven strikeouts over 6.1 innings, and Luis De La Cruz gave up a run in the ninth.

Maikol Gonzalez added his third hit of the series with a single in the seventh, and Shawn Zarraga followed with his second hit of the three-game set. Fernelys Sanchez added his first hit as a Railroader in the ninth, and Axel Johnson drove in a run with a single in the final frame.

After a day off, Cleburne now heads to Wichita to open a three-game set at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium. First pitch Friday evening is set for 7:05 p.m., and the Railroader Pregame Show will begin at 6:45.

The Railroaders return home to The Depot Monday, June 26 to open a three-game set with the Salina Stockade. Tickets are still available and can be purchased online at www.railroaderbaseball.com or by visiting the box office located near the main gate at The Depot.
