CLEBURNE, Texas -- Patrick Mincey pitched his first career complete game, and Maikol Gonzalez hit an early three-run home run en route to an 8-1 rout of the Salina Stockade in the series finale at The Depot Thursday night.

Patrick Mincey gave up just one run on seven hits, striking out four and issuing a lone walk with 106 pitches. The complete game was only Cleburne’s second of the year, and first in a scheduled nine-inning game.

Gonzalez’s homer -- his first of the year -- came with nobody out in the first inning and just one night after he was moved from the leadoff spot to the No. 3 hole.

BOX SCORE

Collectively, the Railroaders scored seven times in the first two innings, and Gonzalez drove in another run with a single in the second. Ermindo Escobar and Shawn Zarraga also chipped in with a pair of RBI groundouts, and the Railroaders added another run in the fifth after a two-out rally culminated in a bases-loaded walk to Mitch Glasser.

Mitch Glasser reached three times and scored a pair of runs, while Gonzalez also scored twice during his three-hit night. Cleburne’s 7-8-9 hitters, Oscar Mesa, K.C. Huth and Axel Johnson, finished 4-for-8 with three walks and a double.

After splitting the first two games of the series, the Railroaders bounced back with 17 combined runs on 24 hits to win the final two games.

The Railroaders now shift focus to a three-game set with the Sioux Falls Canaries this weekend. The first game is set for 7:06 p.m. at The Depot on Friday night, and tickets can be purchased at www.railroaderbaseball.com or by visiting the box office located near the main gate at the stadium.
