CLEBURNE, Texas -- Josh Hodges threw a nine-inning complete game and Santos Arias followed him up with six scoreless innings of his own, and the Cleburne Railroaders swept both games of a seven-inning double-header against the traveling Salina Stockade at The Depot Tuesday night.

Hodges became the first pitcher in franchise history to throw a complete game, and Cleburne walked-off the Stockade with a bases-loaded walk for a 2-1 win in the opener.

Arias then threw six scoreless innings, and Winston Abreu came in to close out a 1-0 win in the second game.

Alex Polston doubled and worked the bases-loaded walk with nobody out in the ninth inning of the first game while Brandon Tierney hit a solo homer with one out in the second inning of the second game, and the Railroaders won their sixth consecutive game and sit a pair of games over .500 for the first time this year.

Maikol Gonzalez knocked a pair of hits in the two games, while Oscar Mesa walked a pair of times in his first two games as a Railroader.

Tierney had a total of three hits, including a pair of singles in the first game, and Geraldo Valentin reached two separate times with a double in the first game and a hit-by-pitch in the second.

The Railroaders now go for a sweep of the Stockade on Wednesday night. First pitch is set for 7:06 p.m., and tickets can be purchased online at www.railroaderbaseball.com or at the box office located near the home plate gate at The Depot.
