UFC 210 Announced for Buffalo

(Long Island, NY., January 16, 2017) – The UFC has scheduled their second pay-per-view for New York in 2017, as the organization will hold UFC 210 in Buffalo on April 8 at the KeyBank Center.

The announcement, which came during the UFC Fight Night 103 broadcast, will mark the fifth MMA event in New York since the ban was lifted in March of 2016.

UFC 205, UFC Albany, WSOF 34 have already taken place with great success, and the UFC now has two top flight pay-per-view cards ready for action with UFC 208 in Brooklyn on February 11 and the newly announced UFC 210 card in Buffalo.

UFC 208 features the first-ever fight in the new women’s featherweight division, which is held at 145 pounds as former bantamweight champion Holly Holm  takes on Germaine De Randamie.

The fight card also includes two local fighters as Randy Brown takes on George Sullivan in a welterweight bout and Ryan LaFlare battles Roan Carneiro in a welterweight bout as well.

Lost in the announcement was the return of BJ Penn, a current UFC Hall of Famer and two-division champion, who last fought in 2014.

Penn took on up-and-coming prospect Yair Rodriguez in a featherweight bout and suffered a devastating TKO early in round two.

As for the announcement of another card coming to New York, no fights have been announced for UFC 210 as of now. Please continue to check our Twitter handle (mmaLImagazine) and Instagram page (mmalongislandmagazine) for up-to-the-minute updates.
