Long Island's Harrison To Defend Titan FC Title

Freeport's Harrison on top

(Long Island, NY., August 16, 2016) – On September 9, Andre “The Bull” Harrison will look to defend his Titan FC featherweight title for the fourth-consecutive time against Bellator veteran Alexandre Bezerra.

Announced today, Harrison (13-0) will have his biggest test yet as he faces Pennsylvania’s Bezerra (18-4) on the Titan FC 41 card at the BankUnited Center in Coral Gables, Florida.

Harrison last fought on Titan FC 39; where he defeated Deivison Francisco Ribereiro via TKO at the 2:13 mark of round three to remain #1 in the featherweight division.

“The Bull”, who fights out of Bellmore Kickboxing Academy, made his professional MMA debut at the ROC (Ring of Combat) 39 on November 18, 2011. After winning six straight in the ROC, the Long Island native has strung seven-consecutive wins in Titan FC.

Bezerra, who last fought on April 30, 2016 (winning by TKO on Xtreme Caged Combat 24), has won three of his last four fights. A veteran of Bellator, Bezerra made his professional debut in 2008.

With both fighters sporting impressive records and the Titan FC featherweight championship title on the line, there is a very strong chance that the winner of this fight could receive a contract with the UFC.

The fight will be shown live on UFC Fight Pass and MMA Long Island Magazine’s Twitter page (@mmaLImagazine) will have live coverage from the opening bell.
